Course overview:

OpenVMS System and Network Node Management II continues the system management training presented in OpenVMS System and Network Node Management I. This course prepares the student to modify an established system that is part of a clustered and/or networked environment.

This course provides students with the information and guided practice they need to perform the tasks required of system managers in an operational OpenVMS VAX, OpenVMS Alpha, or VMScluster system environment. These tasks include managing disks and queues, installing layered products, monitoring system resources, and performing basic system customization tasks. Further, the course enables the system manager to manage LAT services, such as terminal services and remote print queues.
